ISSI Announces DDR2 SDRAM Product Line


August 18, 2008 -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. has introduced its first DDR2 (double data rate) SDRAMs, the IS43DR32800A and the IS43DR32801A, 256-Mbit devices, the first 256-Mbit with a 32-bit bus.

The 1.8-V device is organized as 8Mx32, with speeds up to 400MHz (DDR2-800), providing data transfer of up to 6.4GBps in 64-bit systems.

Pricing and Availability

For quantities of 10,000, the IS43DR32800A and IS43DR32801A, in 126-pin BGA package with a 0°C to 85°C operating range, is priced at $3.95. Samples are available now with volume production shipments beginning in Q4, 2008.
