TI's Stellaris Microcontroller Platform Now Supports Microsoft .NET Micro Framework in Open SourceAugust 9, 2011 -- Golden-IC Technology Co., Ltd., today announced it has successfully ported the Microsoft .NET Micro Framework to Texas Instruments, Inc.'s (TI) Stellaris microcontroller (MCU) platform based on the ARM Cortex-M processor. Golden IC released the source code of the .NET Micro Framework port to Stellaris MCUs. "Full support for on-device debugging in Visual Studio has traditionally been a barrier for many Visual C# and .NET developers wanting to program microcontrollers," said Miguel Morales, Stellaris MCU Marketing Manager, TI.
