Kilopass Technology is a leading developer of embedded one time programmable (OTP) non-volatile memory (NVM) in standard CMOS logic process. Kilopass Technology's Extra Permanent Memory or XPM technology is built using standard, commercially available CMOS logic process technologies and is silicon proven to deliver high density, high performance, and high reliability electrically field-programmable embedded NVM solutions at a low cost. In addition to utilizing only standard logic CMOS process technology, Kilopass Technology's NVM solution is also fully scalable making it available in leading edge process technologies as soon as they have become available from the foundry. Kilopass Technology's XPM solution does not have the geometric limitations inherent in other NVM technologies, such as a minimum tunnel oxide thickness requirement for reliable operation.
The Kilopass XPM technology can be delivered in a wide range of configurations from very low bit count modules (< 1024 bits) to very high bit count modules (up to 1Mb) making it practical for a wide range of embedded NVM applications including code storage, data storage, digital rights management, encryption keys, ROM replacement, and IC configuration applications such as memory repair, chip and wafer identification, feature selection, analog trimming, and analog calibration.
