| Cosmic Circuits Partners with Innotech to Reach Markets in Japan | | |
August 22, 2011 -- Cosmic Circuits Pvt., Ltd. has entered into a partnership with Innotech, a leading distributor for EDA, IP and ASICs, to reach out to customers in Japan. Cosmic Circuits offers a portfolio of differentiated analog IP cores in nanometer technology nodes covering data-converters, analog-front-end platforms for wireless and audio, power-management, clocking and MIPI interfaces, many of which are needed in SOC's designed by Japanese semiconductor companies.
Cosmic Circuits also provides custom analog and mixed-signal ASICs for applications including sensor front-ends and power management. Cosmic Circuits has strong partnerships with foundry, test development and packaging and assembly vendors to ensure the delivery of a complete turnkey solution to the customer with definite lead times and fixed costs. Cosmic will access the Japanese custom ASICs space through the partnership with Innotech.
Ganapathy Subramaniam, CEO of Cosmic Circuits, commented that "Innotech is one of the few distributors that specialize in selling both ASICs and IP and has extensive reach with customers across the country. As many of the Japanese companies are opting to be fab-lite in 28 nanometer and further since Japan is a major market for ASICs, we expect this relationship will help fuel our revenue growth."
